Daily parts washing
- Turn the nozzle and remove it from the machine.
- Wash the nozzle and tube in a mild dish detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Spray alcohol on the nozzle and tube for disinfecting the parts.
- Reattach the nozzle and tube in the machine.
- Wipe the machine with a clean damp cloth.
- Push down the levers on both sides of the drip tray and take off the drip tray cover.
- Wash the drip tray and drip tray cover in a mild dish detergent.
- Turn on the lever for at least 10 seconds to wash the water tank.
- Insert the drip tray with the drip tray cover into the machine.
Weekly Washing and Maintenance
- Take off the miso bag from the hook
- Place an empty container under the dispense tip and push the switch until miso in the pump is fully exhausted.
- Turn the nut (counterclockwise) and take off the pump.
- Hold the grip of the outer case and take off the inner case.
- Take off the screw.
- Wash the parts in a mild dish detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- The screw is the important part to serve a good miso soup. Check the screw well conditioned.
- Before something is wrong with the screw, you should change it for another (about after a year usage).
Treat the parts with care when you wash them.
- Check all the parts of the pump are gathered.
- Spray alcohol on all parts of the pump縲for disinfecting them.
- Fit the screw and inner case perfectly into the outer case.
- Insert the pump perfectly into the machine after turning the pump lightly so that the screw and the machine just fit.
- As pulling and turning the pump holding nut (clockwise), attach it on the machine.
- Put in the nozzle.
- Hang the miso bag on the hanger.
Caution for attaching the screw!
- When installing the screw in the machine, you should be sure that the concave of the screw is in the center of the outer case. And also, be sure that the center of the inner case is adjusted to the center of the screw.
